Wisdom teeth pulled.and the dentist forgot a stich?

its been about a week since ive had my all 4 wisdom teeth


pulled and today i went to get the stiches taken out


only problem is when i got home i notice the dentist forgot one


its my top left to side to be exact





will it just come out on its own?


i tried to take it out with tweezer and it hurt really bad so i gave up?


do i need to go back and get the stich taken out?

Reply:Don't try to do anything yourself, it will be really painful and you might end up making the problem worse. Just go back to your dentist. IT might come out on its own, but it also might now, and it could get infected so go to ur dentist again asap.
Reply:You should go back to have that taken out- esp. b/c it hurts when you try yourself. Call their office- they might be dissolvable. If you pull too hard and it's not ready- it will bleed.
Reply:depends what kind of stitches they are...i got mine out last year and they used dissolving stitches. They either fell out on their own or disappeared after 10 days. Give your dentist a call to see what kind of stitches they used and take it from there.
Reply:Ahhhh! Don't try to take it out yourself. The kind that are seen do not dissolve, only stitches that are on the inside dissolve. Call the dentist.
