prices, recovery time, payment plans, i need info i've never had to get my teeth pulled before....

Getting my teeth pulled what should i ask the surgeons before i ask the appointment ?
Ask for Novocaine, not a general anesthetic that will knock you out. With a general anesthetic, you'll be in a lot of pain from the second you wake up. With Novocaine it takes a while.
Also ask about pain medication for later. They're overly, overly cautious about giving it to you for long enough to really take care of the pain. It contains codeine, which can be addictive, but really isn't addictive in such low doses. Recreational users take such large doses that they do become addicted.
Reply:General anaesthetic or sedation? Medications needed afterward? Time needed to take off work/school? Need someone to drive you there or not? Proper cleaning and care afterward?
Reply:find out if you have to take penicillin a week before you get them pulled,along with your other concerns.i am sure you will do fine.dont be scared.
