The injections are a little uncomfortable, but that soon goes as the anaesthetic starts working. You hear a bit of a crunching sound as the dentist wiggles the teeth before extraction, but it doesn't hurt. Mine stopped bleeding just after extraction. I found it difficult to speak properly for a few hours after until the numbness wore off. No pain in the gums, or swelling cheeks. The gums are a little tender for a few days, but you can take regular pain killers if you feel pain. Your dentist will explain how to care for the gums. Don't worry - the anticipation really is worse than the actual event.
Reply:It shouldn't hurt really, you will probably feel a strange "pressure" type of a feeling, and will probably hear them tearing out, which is kind of freaky.

After, I found it did hurt for a few days after, but just follow their instructions for after care, and you should be fine!!

Good luck, and don't be too nervous, it's honestly not as bad as it sounds or you may have heard. I had all 4 taken out at once and have lived to tell my tale!!
Reply:hello. DO NOT BE NERVOUS. you probably will be numbed by the dentist doing the effort (I was, when). JUST FOLLOW HIS DIRECTIONS (maybe you have a female dentist, I don't know). You will be in their control, and they do not want to hurt you. : } It is strange, yes. but needed. Our human mouths are too small to have the wisdom teeth with our mature teeth.
Reply:nah i just had my teeth pulled today, its not painful at all, i wasnt put to sleep either. its a bit of a pinch, and you're done. dont even be nervous. : ) and put ice on your cheeks afterwards so your face doesnt decide to swell

also i havent felt any pain yet, i just took the med and went to sleep for a few hours. the meds you take just make you a little dizzy you'll be fine
Reply:You will feel the pressure of the teeth being extracted. For your other concerns, you should talk with your dentist. Make sure he/she gives you instructions about what to do when you get home and what to do during the healing process. A wise thing to do is to write down any questions you have for the dentist and bring your list with you to the appointment so that you can discuss these things with the dentist.
