Im getting my teeth pulled in 2 days and i have to get knocked out helpppppppppppp?
It's normal to be scared when being put to sleep. Hopefully being put out is your decision as many times extractions can be done with just a local anesthetic.

Communicate your concerns to the office so that you can get all your questions answered and feel more at ease. I really get the feeling that you are going to be okayyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!

Best wishes!
Reply:I have -- and it's no big deal. You go to sleep and don't even know anything is happening. The idea of it is way scarier than the actual event. You'll be fine afterwards.
Reply:Whose choice was it to get put out? Usually they'll use general anesthesia when you're afraid to have the extractions while you're awake. If you'd prefer to be awake, you should ask if that can be done for you.

Sorry, I've never been put out for extractions--but I was put out for a colonoscopy. I felt just fine afterwards.

Reply:I had 6 teeth removed and they put me to sleep about 10 yrs ago. I was nervous about the entire thing. However all they do is get you connected to a few monitors to monitor your vitals, start an IV and then administer the drugs to put you to sleep. The next thing that I remember is waking up and it was over with. I was very groggy for a while afterwards and numb from the novacane they gave for the removal of the teeth. It wasn't bad at all.
Reply:You should def. get knocked out. Trust me, you do not want to remember seeing your dentist and their assistants wrestling with your head. Think happy............you go to sleep and when you wake up it's all over!!
Reply:i just got my four impacted wisdom teeth removed today. they put me in the dentist chair hooked me up to a couple machines to monitor my heart rate and respitory rate then they gave me laughing gas to start and iv drip then they put sleeping medicine in iv drip and i was snoozing like a baby dont remember even walking to the recovery room. dont be scared they give you novicane b4 you wake up that numbs you for 6-8hrs its been 12 for me i dont feel a thing i already ate sandwich and soup and yogurt you will be fine trust me i was scared as death to
