Teeth pulled out?
If you are still bleeding today, bite on a WET teabag for 20 minutes. The tanic acid will help the blood to clot. If this does not help call your dentist he may have to pack the area with a medicated packing.
Reply:it all takes time but they say that if you drink pineapple juice it helps the healing process it helped my son when he knocked his teeth out in a bike crash.
Reply:After having a tooth extracted the patient should be given the following post op instructions.

For the following 24 hours avoid washing the mouth out,

dont drink any hot drinks(this will disturb the blood clot and encourage bleeding) dont drink alcohol, avoid aspirin as a pain killer as this thins the blood and will also encourage bleeding.

It's natural for there to be some discomfort after an extraction and some bleeding, remember your blood will mix with your saliva and this often seems like there is a lot of blood, however if there is a lot of blood it may be a Secondary Hemorrhage, this can occur a few days after an extraction and is usually caused by an infection at the site of the extraction.

Call your dentist and get an appointment just to check that there is nothing more sinister going on and put your mind at rest!
