Im getting 4 teeth pulled?

omfg, i am so scared. i have to get 4 teeth pulled and the dentist i numbing shot. im really scared and i really dont like the feeling of getting something pulled. and i hate the cracking sounds..umm anyone who had it done, (getting teeth pulled) please tell me...does it hurt? did it hurt afterwards? thanks,

Well it will hurt a little bit afterwards, but baby teeth donot usually ahve such long roots as adult teeth and they usually donot cause alot of discomfort. If you donot wana hear the sounds just take your hadfones with and listen to sum music during the procedure. You will be fine, not to worry. 24-36 hours and you will be good as new, you wont even know you had them pulled.
Reply:I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled at once. If they numb you well it shouldnt hurt. I was actually knocked out when they did mine. Not sure if they will do that to you or not. If it's your wisdom teeth then they should. It didn't hurt too bad just really sensitive and sore. Also, they bled a lot. I had to change the gauze in my mouth for the first day. They should also give you some pain pills to take.
Reply:Ask your Dentist if you can bring your Ipod, 4 teeth will take a bit, and the music is a good diversion. Once you get past the initial pinch of the novacain, it's really not that bad during the process. However, you will have pain afterwards - but...the Dentist will definately suggest/prescribe some pain meds. Follow directions and you'll be comfortable (plan on some major league snoozing). I also had 4 done at once! Good Luck!

yes it hurts (in a strange way, it is numb, but you can tell that something major is happening), yes it is cracking sounds, yes it hurts afterward.

just saw added details. baby teeth, not too bad. i had 4 wisdom teeth pulled with only local anesthetic, it was pretty major. that is what original answer was based upon.

Reply:first put some cotton ball's in your ears b-4 they pull them(so you don't hear the cracking).no you won't feel any pain,just some pressure.after their out you shouldn't feel any pain either.if your over 18 borrow a valium from someone,then you won't care.good luck!
Reply:I was scared too when I was young .. But just a little pain and it will be fine. When it is going to drop, It always hurts and irritating. After you pulled out the teeth, It will be more better.

Reply:call me crazy.. but i loved getting teeth pulled. i got 5 out the first time and 4 the second... its great!! taking them out hurts soo pulling was good! it doesnt hurt nearly as much as pulling them out as much and you wont hear cracking....





and i got a gas mask... ask for that... it numbs and theres no shot.. i didnt get a shot and i didnt feel anything!!
