I need to teeth pulled :(?

ive never had a tooth pulled and the ortho says if i dont get these 4 out they will ahev to pull them in a month because otherwise my braces wont straighten my teeth! does it hurt? they arent wiggly at all. :(

DONT LISTEN to the others, it doesn't really hurt. It is uncomfortable, and there is a lot of pressure, but the anesthetixc really does the trick. For four teeth, it should only take about twenty minutes and then they will be out and you qwont have to worry about it. Just be sure to take really good care of your mouth after the procedure ans you will be fine...
Reply:Yeah, it hurts. And it's gross because you can hear the teeth cracking and feel pressure when they pull them out.

Yes it does hurt! You will receive 4 injections for each tooth that needs to be pulled.
Reply:I had the exact same problem when I had braces about 20 years ago. I had to have 3 teeth pulled.





It's uncomfortable, but you won't be screaming in pain.

they numb your mouth and them pull it out


it hurts and you cat eat for a while but it should be ok
Reply:Your mouth will be numb,but you will feel "pressure" and hear some cracking sounds. It will hurt some when the numbness wears off, but they can give you a prescription for pain pills.





It's VERY important to follow the instructions for AFTER the teeth are pulled, so you don't develop a "dry socket" which is VERY painful!
Reply:You'll be fine. I've had all wisdom pulled and it's not the funnest but not the worst at all. They'll numb you and pull the tooth out the socket. You'll feel absolutely no pain(unless your not numb enough) you'll just feel the pressure of the tooth being pulled out. Afterwords you'll have a bloody whole. You may feel some pain after the numbing has worn off. But nothing pain killers can't fix. They'll give you gauze to help stop the bleeding. They'll also tell you to not do any kind of sucking motion. Like smoking, sucking threw a straw, spitting, whistling etc.Cause you want a blood clot to form in the empty socket, which will act like a scab and then the gum will grow over it.

Dischinger is considered nationally as a leader in both functional jaw orthopedics and orthodontic technology and has lectured extensively throughout the United States. i have actually been to his office. he is famous for never pulling teeth to put on braces. he is sent cases from all over the world. i would consult his office first before getting any teeth pulled. if you do have teeth pulled for any other reason, it is best to go to a biologic dentist so that you do not form a cavitation in your jaw.
