Wisdom teeth pulled, now spitting blood?

I had my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday, everything went smoothly. However, 30 hours later when I spit, there is some blood in the spit, is this a sign that one of the clots is coming out and I'm going to probably have dry sockets or is this normal? I've tried to take all precautions to avoid dry sockets(aka no drinking through a straw, others), but I'm wondering if this is a sign that I may have them.

Also, where my tooth was pulled on the bottom left, you can visibly see the clot but on the right, you cannot see the clot, is this a bad sign?

It is normal. They can stuff the holes with guaze-like material if you continue to have problems.
Reply:Disgusting! I'M GONNA GO THROW UP NOW!

:)
Reply:same thing happened to me
Reply:just rinse with warm salt water.
Reply:noo youre gonnna bleed for a week or two..i had it done 4 years ago, and was the worst thing in my life..just make sure ur mouth is clean, so u dont get infections..do what the doc says..the clot is supposed to be like that, its where itll heal
Reply:I worried alot about dry sockets as well, I had blood in my spit for a while man. You gotta think, 4 teeth (big teeth) were just pulled, there is a lot of blood coming from 4 different places. As long as you took the precautions, dry sockets are rare.
Reply:its ok, i mean when i had mine pulled, it hurt like a mother!@@@# the next day, but it never got swollen and i was surprise
Reply:The best thing to do is gargle with salt water. This will help your sockets dry up quicker. It is normal for you to be spitting blood.
Reply:haha i went thru this. dont worry it just feel like it ur okay!!

i went to the hospital eeryday! drove my doctor nuts!

just wait about 1 week, itll be fine
Reply:You will be able to see those clots in the gum that is normal. As for dry socket, I wouldnt be worried about that either, bleeding in the gum after extraction is normal. Excessive bleeding may not be but I do not believe that is a sign of dry socket. Good luck
Reply:ur dead
Reply:I had a tooth pulled not too long ago but it wasnt a wisdom tooth but the clot had not healed but it should jsut take time and bit down on the gauge ...I think it is normal though
Reply:call the dentist to be sure , but it's probably nothing. 4 yrs ago or so, when i was 10, i had 6 teeth pulled so i'm sure you are fine.
Reply:I spit blood for at least another day or two after...it's normal, takes a while for those wounds to heal. One tip: put warm tea bags over the wounds and gently bite down. The tannic acid in the tea leaves will close up the small capillaries that cause much of the blood...it helped me out a ton. Just change the tea bags after a half hour or hour and use two - one for each side of your mouth.
Reply:go back to your dentist,i think its normal, but check back with your dentist. my brother is a dentist and ive had him pull a few teeth and he made me bite on gauze pads.by get a few gauze pads and continue to bite on them until the beeding stops.i was told the same thing by my brother, dont drink through a straw, this squeezes the blood out.dont worry its normal.if it doesnt stop as i said see your dentist.
Reply:Same thing happened to me, I didnt get dry sockets. I would suggest calling your dentist though to make sure your taking all the right precautionary measures. just keeo taking the antibiotics and nothing that might thin the blood.
Reply:You’re supposed to let the blood clot so it can heal properly. Gross as it sounds it’s the tooth!

try not to look in to it too much, remember it will pass
Reply:Did you eat anything after they pulled the tooth? That might be the problem. It can make your mouth bleed if you eat after they pull the teeth. It happened to my cousin. Trust me. OK.
Reply:dont worry they pulled both my bottom ones out 1 carried on bleeding for 3 days on and off gargle some salt water gently in your mouth this should help to clot !!!!if no one can help you on here phone your dentist !!!!!!they should see you today if your that worried
