Need to get some teeth pulled and scared about it?

i need to get some teeth pulled because my mouth is to small for all my teeth i need to have like 5 teeth pulled and the one is trying to come up underneth another one and its causing my gum to split its all sore and puffy ... i was wondering what all they are going to have to do and if its going to hurt really bad ...im a single mother i have a 1 year old am i going to be able to take care of him after i have all of this done?

I had the exact same problem as you are describing. While it's not fun, it's not awful either. The worst part is the needle prick when they inject the numbing agent. You probably will have the option to have them give you a little "gas" to help you relax through the whole thing...which will make even that little discomfort barely noticeable.





You'll be able to function fine within a few hours of the procedure, although you will probably need to take painkillers for a few days. However, if you can get someone to take care of the little one for the rest of the day, that would be nice. Bu if that's not possible, you certainly will be able to do it.
Reply:Going to the dentist is never fun but we all pull throught it. I am battling myself to go to the dentist myself. I think it's the smell that get to me and the sound of the wonderful drill.
Reply:I had 4 teeth pulled when I was 14 years old. I was scared half to death,but yet i refused to be put to sleep..or take the laughing gas. So, they rubbed numbing stuff on my gums and then gave me a bunch of shots in my mouth. This doesnt hurt. It tookthem maybe...5 minutes..to get thm 4 teeth pulled... it's pretty fast.... It doesnt hurt one bit, in my opinion. I didnt feel pain even after the numbing went away. As far as it disabling you from taking care of your son... I don't see how it would.
