Teeth pulled?
Extractions have become fairly routine, quick and painless. If your dentist is really efficient and professional, you should be able to carry on almost as normal once the anesthesia wears off.
Reply:No bon fire for you. After having a tooth pulled, you will need to take it very , very easy.
Reply:Lizzy,

I had my wisdom teeth pulled. You probably won't be doing anything that night. You'll be pretty drugged up. But, the good news is my tooth extraction wasn't painful. It took about an hour or so and I just chilled the rest of that day. I got my apartment the next day, in fact. But I don't think you'll make your bon fire.

You'll be fine, Matt
Reply:oh yea 1ce its pulled u MUST watch u eat i had 4 pulled so i know u will be numbed up so thats fun no pain tho afterwards just watch wat u eat
Reply:You should be able to go to our school bon fire unless you have anesthesia(knocked out), but if you have a local, you should have no problem going. Believe it or not, when my teeth were pulled(3 at a time) It actually felt better afterwards, than before. The shots in the mouth will cause you to be sore and hard to open your mouth wide for a few weeks but then it will subside. I would keep a close eye on your gums and see if they bleed, or if you have stitches, follow our dentist's instructions if you have stitches or bleeding. Eat very soft foods and lots of liquids help since it is always stressful to get teeth pulled. I would also recommend a mild pain reliever like tylenol or advil if you are in pain or discomfort afterwards, hot packs on the jaw will also eleviate some soreness. I hope you can go to your bonfire and have a good time.
Reply:You could probably go to the event, but won't be in a great mood. You'll still have some discomfort just from getting the teeth pulled, but the pain won't stop you from going. It's more up to you if you want to be in public when you might not be in the best mood, ya know!?
