What happened while they were pulling your wisdom teeth?

Reply:I was totally out don%26#039;t remember a thing.
Reply:Well, I was completely out so I have no idea. Don%26#039;t worry though, you%26#039;ll be so numb you won%26#039;t have feeling for hours.
Reply:make sure they take xrays first sometimes your nerves grow up to your sinus cavities
Reply:I have no idea they put me to sleep thank god because I don%26#039;t remember a thing!! Just ask to make sure that they will numb your mouth remember you do have the right to ask. Good Luck!
Reply:i still have mine
Reply:After they pulled my wisdom teeth I forgot how to tie my shoes.
Reply:I had all 4 of mine out at the same time under a general anaesthetic.
Reply:They put me to sleep. I had an IV and they told me count backwards from 100. I remember making it to 97. Then when I was waking up, I remember calling out a guy%26#039;s name ( not my boyfriend, but a guy I liked). Good thing my boyfriend wasnt there huh? But anyway. There are going to be little %26quot;pockets%26quot; in the back of your mouth where the teeth used to be, and they are going to give u a squeezy thing that you have to shoot water in there to clean them out every time you eat, and periodically through the day. Your face is going to swell, significantly if you have all 4 pulled at once. Mine was swollen for about a week. It hurt for a few days, then it just feels weird until the little pockets heal up completely, which will take a few weeks. And you have to make sure you clean them well because if they get infected, your breath will stink worse than $H!T!!!
Reply:I WAS KNOCKED OUT FOR MINE. THE DOCTOR SAID I FARTED WHILE THEY WERE WORKING ON MY WISDOM TEETH. HE SAID IT HAPPENS A LOT.
Reply:i was knocked out

afterwards it sucked balls

i woke up with my pants around my ankles and a sneaking suspicion that something bad happened

other than that it was fantastic
Reply:l just got stupid. seriously, l had mine pulled many years ago at four different times, just had Novocaine and was fine. l was working for the dentist at the time. My granddaughter had hers pulled all at once and they put her to sleep for it. She ate a lot of ice cream afterward, Don%26#039;t be scared they will numb you and probably give you something for pain if you have any. I just had to have another tooth pulled and they gave me a long lasting Novocaine (l think it lasted 10 hours)and l had no pain at all. good luck, you%26#039;ll be fine.
Reply:Get a second opinion about whether it is necessary to have them pulled. There might be more of a reason why you fear it than the usual fear of dental work.

I had one pulled; it was entirely numbed and there wasn%26#039;t any pain, but the tooth was tightly rooted, so that the sudden yank let me know the wrench stole a few brain cells. I later found out that the reason for the pulling was a misguided decision.

It may make you more comfortable, if the teeth are that far gone, or if you have the type of jaw configuration such that you have not used the wisdom teeth for chewing. It takes some care in the aftermath, however, so be prepared to follow your dentist%26#039;s instructions, if you have them pulled.

Nitruous oxide, the gas for dental work, can make the procedure much easier for some patients. Also, if you go ahead with it, make sure the dentist gives you the pulled teeth. You may not want to look at them directly afterward, but might be happy you have them some time later. Then you can toss them in the trash, when you want.
