Why not ask your therapist in the new year?

Do dreams have to mean anything?
Reply:Daily stress causes a person to grind their teeth in their sleep.

This can sometimes cause a dream of you either pulling your teeth out, or losing them somehow.

It%26#039;s just a reaction to stress.

If you check the dental section of most drug stores, they sell a mouth guard, that looks just like a mouthguard, but it is meant for use while sleeping.

I grind my teeth, but they are still in line pretty much.
Reply:You may be. the state of dentists in this country.
Reply:Hi Vici, I read on matchadream.com that pulling out your teeth means that you may have uttered some false or foul words and those words are coming back to haunt you. I am sure that dreams about teeth, either falling out, rotting, being knocked out, or pulled out are very common for some reason. I%26#039;ve always thought that maybe they are common because sometimes in our sleep we may grind our teeth or bite down hard or something and then our bodies notice this and it shows up in our dreams. But if you search one of the dream databases like matchadream or another and search on teeth or tooth I think you%26#039;ll find lots of other people that have had the same dream. In fact I saw on one of the sites, I can%26#039;t remember which one, that dreaming about teeth is the most popular dream they have recorded, even more common than falling or being chased. Good luck with finding the answer!
Reply:I think in general the meaning of most dreams is very personal, but in this case, it often means you feel you are losing your power. People i know who have dreamt this often seem to be in that sort of position.
Reply:Hi,

To dream that you have rotten or decaying teeth, forewarns that your health and/or business is in jeopardy. You may have uttered some false or foul words and those words are coming back to haunt you.

Also common dream scenarios include having your teeth crumbling in your hands or your teeth falling out one by one with just a light tap.Such dreams are not only horrifying and shocking, but often leaves the dreamer with a lasting image of the dream. Teeths dream may be rooted in your fear of being embarrassed or making a fool of yourself in some specific situation. These dreams are an over-exaggeration of your worries and anxiety.

Teeth are used to bite, tear, chew and gnaw. In this regard, teeth represent power. And the loss of teeth in your dream may be from a sense of powerlessness. Are you lacking power in some current situation? Perhaps you are having difficulties expressing yourself or getting your point across. You feel frustrated when your voice is not being heard. You may be experiencing feelings of inferiority and a lack of self-confidence in some situation or relationship in your life. This dream is an indication that you need to be more assertive and believe in the value of your own opinion

Hope this helps
