The more you wear the retainer the less it will hurt. Sounds dumb but your teeth will start moving and then the pain will be less until they tighten the retainer. The results will be beautiful it just takes some time and patients. If the Tylenol won%26#039;t work then ice your mouth. Put some ice in a plastic baggy or use some frozen veggies and place them on your face for a few minutes.
Reply:Great job before long you will have a beautiful smile and straight teeth. If you wear it properly you will not have to wear it during the day just at night when you sleep. Report It

Reply:Anbesol maybe, until it gets more comfortable. Also call your doctor about it to see if its normal. And some Ibuprofen for inflammation.
Reply:You need to use a prescription dose of ibuprofen or naproxen. Why are people so keen on tylenol when it won%26#039;t relieve inflammation and is not the best choice of drug for pain?
Reply:Check with your orthodontist. You can expect some pain and pressure because it is moving your teeth but it should not hurt that bad. If he says that it is not too tight and it is normal then try Advil or Aleve - I%26#039;m not a big Tylenol fan either. Also try eating some popsicles to numb your mouth.
Reply:well i had the same problem, but with my feet. but like u said u have it with your teeth. so this is what i would do, i would sleep with my head facing the north star to help blood flow, and i would also stop karioke singing on the computer so you can rest your jawthis is how us austraillians do

good-day mate ta-ta
Reply:Take a few Advils and suck it up.
Reply:within a week it%26#039;ll be better hopefully...
