Dentist is pulling 10 of my teeth tomorrow..?

any words of advice for all the pain I%26#039;m to be in?

Dentist is pulling 10 of my teeth tomorrow..?
This Dentist should give you meds, but its going to be rough.

Just for a couple of days, though. Hang in there. You have my sympathy, and I wish I could do more.
Reply:ask for something good for pain, yall need it
Reply:Take a couple of aspirin or Aleve or something before you go in and take a couple more when he%26#039;s finished. That%26#039;s what my dentist has said for me to do because I have really bad TMJ and my jaws can really bother me after having a procedure done.
Reply:ask if they can put you under. i had four teeth pulled at once and they decided to knock me out. they also gave me some nice pain meds for afterwords, but i didn%26#039;t have much pain.
Reply:Yeah. Once it%26#039;s all done, starting brushing, flossing and using mouth wash. And then don%26#039;t forget to eat lots of milkshakes tommarow, as you probably wont feel like eating anything else.
Reply:yeah. don%26#039;t drink any alcohol tonight. the anesthesia will not work properly if you do. trust me on this, i know.
Reply:stay Numb!!! use ambisol when your done or some kind of nuvacane
Reply:... vicodin is your friend.
Reply:Don%26#039;t take aspirin first because it thins your blood and will make you bleed more. Use any other pain reliever without aspirin. You will want to put ice on your face to keep swelling down when you get home. Make sure the dentist gives you extra novacaine while you are still numb before you leave. This will keep the pain at bay longer.
Reply:DON%26#039;T TAKE ASPIRIN !!! - that thins your blood and you may not be able to stop the bleeding
Reply:Take a couple of aspirin or Aleve or something before you go in and take a couple more when he%26#039;s finished
Reply:Well you are under novacaine in other words your very numb so you can NOT feel any pain, my question is why are you getting 10 teeth pulled? After words just take motrin or any other pain killers (over the counter). Answer my question at teethdoc247@yahoo.com
